Pick a return date and Today's Path goes quiet until then — nothing is lost, it'll all be waiting.
Back from a break?
Spread all overdue cards evenly over the next 7 days instead of facing the whole pile today. FSRS memory state is untouched.
Traditional characters
Show 繁體 alongside simplified in the word lists.
Character form
Which form leads in word lists, review card fronts, and quiz questions.
Meaning language
Which language word and character meanings show in — independent of the interface language, so you can study English glosses even with an Indonesian interface, or the other way around.
Study reminder
Pick an hour to be nudged if you haven't studied yet. Honest limitation: this is a static site with no server, so it can only remind you while the app is open in a tab or installed PWA — nothing can be sent once it's closed.

Reduce motion

Larger text
Increase the interface font size for easier reading.
Hanzi size
Bigger Chinese characters everywhere, independent of the interface text size above.
Tone marking
Add tone numbers next to pinyin so tones don't rely on colour alone.
Pinyin visibility
How pinyin shows up across drills and word lists. Character pages and the pinyin reference always show it, since that's the whole point of those pages.
Low-bandwidth mode
Hides the homepage photo and stops audio from auto-playing across drills — tap the play button whenever you want to hear it.
Audio autoplay
Play a word's audio automatically the moment it appears in a drill. Turn off to only hear it when you tap the play button — also off automatically under Low-bandwidth mode.
Quiet gamification
Hide the streak card, weekly challenge, and achievements from the home and stats pages. Your progress keeps being tracked underneath — it's just not shown.
Export progress
Download everything (practice stats, reviews, streak) as a JSON file.
Import progress
Restore from a previously exported file. Replaces current data.
Load demo data
Fill the app with a 24-day streak, heatmap history, and an active review deck — for demos.
Reset everything
Erase all progress and settings.
Offline & storage
Download a band's character stroke-data so writing practice and review keep working with no connection.
No offline service worker is active in this environment (e.g. the dev server) — downloading still warms your browser's normal cache instead.
